SATURDAY JULY 12, 2008, 9:00am Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 362 is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Cops United Free Falling Spectacular. During last years event the C.U.F.F.S. charity event completed an amazing 160 tandem Skydives and raised $10,000.00 for the Special Olympics. Now it's time to make a bigger and better charity skydiving event. Officer Albert Clements from PBA Local 362 will organize the 2nd Annual C.U.F.F.S. event at Freefall Adventures in Williamstown, New Jersey. Funds raised during this year's event will again be donated to the Special Olympics. Come and make a tandem skydive with your local police and public safety personnel while supporting a fantastic charity. A tandem Skydive is accomplished by jumping out of a plane, attached to a certified Skydive Instructor. Your Tandem Skydive at Freefall Adventures
When making your tandem skydive at Freefall Adventures in Williamstown, New Jersey you will complete your training session with your instructor, be fitted into your specially designed harness and make your way to the loading area. You will then board one of Freefall Adventures' turbines equipped aircraft for your fast climb to 14,000 feet (2.5 miles) above the ground where you will have a full view of the Philadelphia, Atlantic City Skylines. After receiving your final safety checks, you and your instructor will make your way to the door and exit the aircraft where you will experience at least 60 seconds of freefall before you and your instructor deploy a parachute specially designed for two people. After enjoying the beauty, serenity, and thrill of the view under a parachute, you will then work with your instructor to fly the parachute back for a landing right in front of the observation deck here at the Cross Keys airport.
